Since the upgrade, beaver builder does not work correctly. When on a page add a row with a column of 3 (or any other number) it stacks 3 rows instead of a single row with 3 columns. (can send screen shots)

Also, when I try to upload an image (a very small one) it says the image is loaded in the media tab/folder however there is nothing there. The “image” is blank. I tried with different size images and formats and nothing works as it used to.

I installed and ran health check plug in and it reports everything is fine … clearly it is not. I tried modifying an existing page with the format i want and it immediately botched the page with unwanted formatting.

Any ideas what is going on and how I can fix all this? My boss is all hopped up because I wasn’t able to make the web changes today…. Please Help!!??

    Hey @rsweatland,

Thanks for posting, and apologies for the delayed response!

The issue might be that the uploads directory on your site is set to a path where it doesn’t have access. The builder needs to create a stylesheet for the page and since it doesn’t have a place to upload it, the layout won’t contain any styling. The same goes for the images being uploaded on your site.

Can you check under Settings > Media and see if you have a Store uploads in this folder field? If you do, can you try changing it back to its default value which is wp-content/uploads and see if it fixes the issue? 🙂

    This is what was there:

    /home/myfilename/public_html/myurl.com/wp-content/uploads
    changed to
    wp-content/uploads

It now works…. Thank you so very much!
