Upgrade to WP 3.5 fails

I’ve got a challenge on my site that I don’t know how to resolve. I’m trying to use the WP Update feature to update to WP 3.5, but everytime I click on update, it tells me it is downloading the file, and then stops. Is there something anyone can suggest?
