    Hi,

    I just upgraded to Tablepress from table reloaded. I now noticed that none of my tables have the sorting or searching functions for users displayed.

    Also I cannot seem to edit the font size on the tables.

    I have all of the following enabled in each table and the boxes are checked but none of these options or info are displaying in the tables:
    Use DataTables, Sorting, Search/Filtering, Pagination,Pagination Length Change, Info.

    I also tried the following custom CSS in the same section to adjust the font size but it is not working:

    .tablepress-id-6 tbody td { font-size: 8px; }

    Please help.

    Ok so I did a little further diagnosing and found that when I remove the custom CSS from the whitespace in the “Features of the DataTables Javascript Library” section the searching/sorting functions are working.

    Now I need to find out how to make the tables fit on the page and reduce the font size. I do not want to enable horizontal scrolling, I just want to reduce the font size and column widths. Please help.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Judging from your description, you were just entering the “Custom CSS” in the wrong place. It has to go into the textarea on the “Plugin Options” screen, and not into that textfield in the “Features of the DataTables JavaScript library” section.
    But as it seems, you already discovered this now 🙂

    Regards,
    Tobias
