When I upgrade vom 2.1.19 to 3.0.7 I still have the Fields defined in the field groups (not taxonomy) in my posts, but they are all empty.

I discovered that the upgrade change all the Field ids to new generated keys. This is not useful, because all the shortcuts and saved textes in the database doesn’t work anymore.

Please fix this and use after the upgrade the same field ids/keys as before.

    Used WordPress Version: 5.8.1
    Used PHP Version: 7.4

@flog @azzamdaaboul thanks for using this plugin 🙂

After so many tests, I am unable to replicate this bug. I suppose it’s a question of compatibility with other plugins or themes.

The easiest and fastest solution is to update the plugin and change the field ids manually as before.

If certain types of fields cause problems, use “text” as the field type.

Out of 50k downloads, I only received 3 reports for this issue.

Haha, your funny. Just because you received only 3 reports you don’t want to check the issue…

However, I changed my 30 fields all manually back to the field IDs as before and it works. But I think you really should check and try harder, because I guess that this problem witt occur again after an update (or at least a major update).

    Hi @flog 🙂
The quick and easy solution is to change the ids manually.

If I had received so many similar requests, I would have invested more time for resolution.
