correction: from 3.1.9.2 or 3.1.9.1 to 4.0 (which was not indicated as beta but as regular update)

I got the same results with version 4.06. My forms all got reset after the update.

I just upgraded from Version 3.1.8.5 to 4.0.6 and poof! – all 22 of my forms were gone. Nearly shit my pants!

Re-uploaded Version 3.1.8.5 and everything seems to be ok, thank God.

I have like 30 forms that it deleted. Does anyone have a copy of Version 3.1.8.5? How do I go about updating it without deleting anything?

    I really appreciate your help!!!

I updated on another site and it did work. It looks like my own issue so far is using the labels on the left layout on the old forms. On the second site, I was using the default labels on top and it migrated fine.

BUT, I am noticing something else in general that I am not liking with the new version. For whatever reason, there is a
tag after each hidden form field at the top of the form? This makes a huge amount of blank space at the top of the form.

marc, I had this same problem with a form from PayPal. WordPress adds break tags for hidden form fields. No idea why.

I installed the “Toggle wpautop” plugin, which adds a “Disable wpautop” option to posts/pages. Works great – lets you manually format vertical spacing.

As to the upgrade, it failed to activate – blows over my max memory limit – AFTER blowing away the old copy of the plugin. Not very kind.

Would be nice if there were a way to download the previous stable version.

WOW! I just noticed that all my forms are missing too. Obviously due to the recent update. Is there a remedy available yet or is anyone looking into this?

    Thank You,

If you need to revert to an earlier version, instructions are here: http://www.fastsecurecontactform.com/revert-to-previous-version

3.1.8.5 has been reported as being OK.

    That worked for me.

    1) Deactivate FSCF plugin
    2) Rename (or delete) …/wp-content/plugins/si-contact-form/
    3) Installed 3.1.8.5 zip file from http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/si-contact-form.3.1.8.5.zip

    Still broken
