 * Hi There!
    I tried to upgrade newly installed WP on my new addon domain name.
   I use automatic upgrade plugin and in the middle of upgrading it gives this worning:
   Warning: copy(/home/plenty07/public_html/Best-IM-Tools/index.php) [function.copy]:
   failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/plenty07/public_html/Best-IM-
   Tools/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-automatic-upgrade/wpau_upgrade.class.php on
   line 323 We could not complete the upgrade please try again later, click here
   to check the logs.
 * Any one knows what is the problem and how I should correct it?
    Thanks, Vad

 * you handle it by doing the upgrade the same way countless other ppl have done
   it — the regular way.
 * if you want help with the plugin, go ask the plugin author.

 * whooami – you’re a dick
 * vad111 – I had the same problem. I chmod the file giving me an error to 777.
   You might try doing a chmod to 755 or 777 and see if that works or contact your
   hosting company if you have managed hosting.

 * for others that may still have this problem, I had to create an index.php.wpau.
   bak file in the wordpress root folder and 777 it first. It worked after that
   with no problems. For some reason it couldn’t create the file but it could edit
   it. My folders were temp at 777 too.
