# Upgrade Multisite website

 * Hi, I’m running WordPress 3.6 that I’d like to uprade to the latest version. 
   I’m afraid to get it wrong and lose all my sites therefore my question, is there
   a specific way to upgrade wordpress multisite?

 * I don’t have the answer to your question, but make sure you do a backup before
   you do a major update like this. On my server side, I can do a backup on all 
   files and all databases. Then the backup can be stored on the server side or 
   I can download it locally. In case anything happen you can at least go back to
   the old version.

 * Backup first, upgrade the WP core files second, drink a beer third.
