[Resolved] Upgrade messed up directories

  • I just upgraded to 2.01. Before upgrade I had configured WordPress to be in the directory hofteigur.net/wordpress but the index was in hofteigur.net thus entering just the basic url would bring up the WordPress page.

After the upgrade hofteigur.net would give an error but going to the WordPress directory would show the blog. Links would not work however. Changing the URIs in the General section fixed that, but now I’m stuck with going to the WordPress directory if I want to see the blog…

I have moved index.php to the correct directory and updated it’s content (now showing only “require(‘./wordpress/wp-blog-header.php’);”) and rebuilt the permalinks. No go.

Now, for the bombshell, I can’t find .htaccess even if I choose to see hidden files. I’m guessing that’s my problem. What can I do to fix this?
