# Upgrade Mess/Access Problem

 * Have recently had issues with my site so I decided to upgrade. I’ve upgraded 
   a few times over the years and had no problems that I haven’t been able to sort
   out. Currently my site gives me error messages when I try to view it. This what
   I get
 * Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/tombur2/public_html/
   wp-includes/query.php on line 684
 * Fatal error: Call to undefined function: update_object_term_cache() in /home/
   tombur2/public_html/wp-includes/post.php on line 2768
 * When I go to my login page I get the page but it’s not styled so I gues it’s 
   not accessing a style sheet properly. When I enter my username/password I get
   this fatal error:
 * Fatal error: Call to undefined function: hash_hmac() in /home/tombur2/public_html/
   wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1079
 * Anybody have ideas as to what I need to do?

 * Just a guess, but that sure looks like a case of not getting all the new files
   uploaded properly.
 * You might want to delete the files that are currently inside wp-includes, and
   wp-admin (and its includes, sub-dir) and reupload them.

 * I think your guess was correct. I did a complete upload again but then I got 
   an internal server error when viewing my site. Fortunately it was just due to
   my database being outdated and was sorted out easily. Thanks for your help.

 * This information is posted everywhere on this site. I keep repeating it day after
   everloving day. WHY DON’T YOU PEOPLE GET IT?
 * Delete the goddam files; don’t just overwrite them. I’ve got news for you. You
   are not unique or special or different. The rules apply to you, too.

 * Pity you are such an angry & unpleasant person, unlike the helpful and pleasant
   whooami. The fact that I’ve already sorted out my problem means you don’t even
   need to respond to this post. You are only responding because you are a an angry
   a**hole. Your post isn’t helpful, it just allows everyone to see what kind of
   sad & pathetic individual you are. Idiot.
