# Upgrade failure

 * I tried to manually upgrade to WP latest version having first created a new SQL
   Database in my server to meet requirement s of this version.
 * I had a problem with the wp-config file message that it was missing. Pop-up indicated
   that I could create one , requested my URL email and sub domains— stupidly en
   ^KjMIl^bHcVc tered a WP_Sandbox a folder on my root…. and help I created me a
   new blog– with the old blogs URL.
    Now Ive lost my blog and can’t get the other
   to work either.
 * Any suggestions?
    -  with regard to what was missing in the config and why it wasn’t recognized
 *  -  I guess i can’t delete the new account?
 *  -  My old account must be at my email address that is different to the new blog
      I registred
 *  -  I cannot login to my old account
 * All files are backed up my concern is that my blog url is now pointing to the
   new blog that has nothing on
 * Sorry if this sounds stupid
 * any help would be gratefully recieved

 * Just repeat the installation, this time properly filling out the wp-config.php.
   Do you have table_prefix = ‘wp_’ in your wp-config.php? Use the secret key generator
   for wp-config.php: [http://api.wordpress.org/secret-key/1.1/](http://api.wordpress.org/secret-key/1.1/)
   
   Blog url can be edited at dashboard, general settings.
