 * Dammit guys, your latest upgrade has completely ruined our events calendar. Is
   there an archive of older versions I can go back to?

 * I agree, the update has broken our image slider on our home page. Can we go back
   to the previous version?

 * Update has removed the event list from my widgets area, when I replace in widgets
   it doesn’t show.

 * Click on “Developers”.
 * You’ll see an archive of all the previous versions. Click on the one you want
   to download it.
 * I’m not one of the authors of this plugin. Just helping out.

 * 3.5.2 Update has frozen my rotating header which was working via a rotate.php
   in same folder as images…tried different code for this file but now only one
   image loads and stays the same within browser and mobile browsers no matter what
   code is used to randomly select and image when another page is selected. Worked
   great until this week ?!@#?
 * If I load the rotate.php directly via url in my browser, it does return a random
   image from the 20 or so in folder.

 * Excellent, thanks for the download link. Not going to ruin my 4th of july messing
   with this… will try it tomorrow!

 * Success! Downgrading to the last version solved all my problems. Looks like 3.0
   has loads of changes. Hopefully this is a good thing, but man, not going to try
   to figure it out for a while.

 * Where to downgrade? New version totally screwed up for me too.

 * Hey folks. Thanks for the note here, and first let me obviously apologize for
   the poor experience you’ve had – and on top of that for the failure to get you
   a reply here quicker. While we’ve been attempting to hit the dot-org forum more
   actively than our usual 1x weekly here, we’ve had a lot of questions about the
   update and have been limited in our support resources. Please know we do value
   this feedback and are committed to helping out those of you aiming to make the
   upgrade successfully.
 * It looks like nickaster has already pointed you to the archive of historical
   versions; 2.0.11 was the final of the 2.x lifecycle and is the most stable from
   that era. If you are ever planning to upgrade back to 3.0 down the road (which
   we hope you do) 2.0.11 is the version you’ll want to update from.
 * This is definitely a major upgrade that changes a lot; and particularly for folks
   with customizations, you’re going to need to spend some time updating those so
   they work in the new codebase. That said we realize upgrades like this can be
   an intense process and want to help get your update-related issues sorted. For
   those who have a staging site they can attempt it on (so there isn’t the pressure
   of a live site hanging over you or your clients’ heads), we are happy to help
   you work through getting your 3.0 site to look like you had it in 2.x.
 * Please do accept our apologies, and know that we’re actively working on maintenance
   builds to patch whatever plugin bugs are reported. Theme integration problems(
   which have been the bulk of the conflicts I’ve seen so far) are generally addressed
   on a case by case basis…and while we can’t ensure integration with every theme
   out there, if the plugin was working on a given theme previously but isn’t anymore,
   that’s a problem we want to help get sorted. Let me know what I and the team
   can do to this end.

 * The upgrade has screwed my site completely, I tried a DB restore but now I have
   no site at all. Yes a major update but clearly not compatible with Coraline By
   Automattic Ver1.4.1 and the latest Wp3.5.2.

 * I would really like to know the justification for changing the names of the folders
   of all the customization files. That seems like an unnecessary change that would
   logically cause grief for a wide spread of users who are dedicated to your plugin.
 * And no this is not a rhetorical question.

 * Hallo, I also have a desaster showing the events on the sidebar, and linking
   to an internal blog article, no internal blog articles were found at all, but
   events only, I never did before. How can I go back or update the plugin “The
   Events Calendar” (Deutsch: Veranstaltungskalender)?

 * Designers,
 * I know you work hard to provide either free or paid services. Your Events calendar
   was excellent but this upgrade needs pulling off the market. Please action a
   plugin notice for the previous version until this one is fixed and road tested.
   ACn you also test with Coraline
 * I have now spent so much time rebulding my site from scratch with much to do
   but would really like the old version until you get it fixed.
 * Whilst you are at it where one has regular weekly events say from Aug – Sept (
   repeated every 6 weeks) it would be nice if the oldest date was auto replaced
   with the next present date i.e every Saturday . This was it would make the site
   fresher
 * i.e
    regular Sat event Sat 24th Aug – 7th Sept
 * the following week the same info is shown.
 * It would be great to have an automatic showing like:
 * 31st Aug – 7th Sept

 * I hadn’t received any direct replies until I posted elsewhere “not to download
   this”. I had other issues with the plug in but have now started to rebuild my
   main site, still much to do.
    However, the negative differences with the upgrade
   persist and remain unanswered.
 * I have requested a few times now so when available and it is appreciated it is
   free help, for answers to the questions I have raised on the forums from the
   experts I am not alone on this so there is an issue to resolve and it’s preventing
   me from any upgrades to the paid version across the sites I run. If this simple
   issue cannot be resolved what hope is there for the pro version?
 * I keep getting referred back to the forum where I get no answers hence I tried
   other approaches. This arrived this morning as a result of the above.

 * Hey there southernboyuk. Thanks for the review here, and apologies to hear we’ve
   let you down. I saw your comments on the tri.be site related to your questions
   and while we’ve tried to reply to every one of those to get you sorted, it appears
   that we didn’t do a good enough job there.
    It sounds like the issues related
   to screwing up the site DB are related to your site specifically, as that obviously
   isn’t a core behavior of the plugin (nor something we’ve seen widespread reports
   on). If you do find yourself willing to work with the team to get those sorted
   on the appropriate forum, hopefully we can win back your trust and get a better
   review from you. Let me know what we can do to help achieve that end, and we’ll
   make it so. Thanks again for this feedback and helping us know where our shortcomings
   exist.

 * Rob,
 * May I repeat again as the other guys, if there is no fix please just say so.
   I have shown willingness to resolve this but it hasn’t been previously reciprocated.
   **
   The problem remains
 * _Large fonts, wrong font, wrong coloured font – so in other words is it conflicting
   with the main theme, overwriting, overriding, or what? Is it fixable by yourselves
   the experts or not, it’s not just one theme? Are you working on it or have no
   intention of looking into it. The previous plug worked well._
 * I also asked whether on the new std upgrade one could have weekly events say
   every sat, as one can only have a date range which means the Sat event shows
   on every day of the week on the calendar.
 * Hopefully we will get a fix soon or at least know.
 * thanks in advance
