Upgrade Changes Path?

  • Did a new install of 1.5 (final). Working fine (except for needing to hit the refresh to get back to site from the admin).

Restored data via phpmyadmin and ran upgrade.php.

Page came up with the default post only (Hello..) and without images (that part is due to my not respecifying the image directories in the database).

Also, the path in the status bar shows a different path than I’m currently using. This is a path I did have in a previous insall, but the options were changed in the database (using phpmyadmin) to reflect current path settings.

Cleared the cache – don’t know what’s left. Anyone familiar with this? (Hopefully not firsthand!)

  • Actually, the path coming up is /wordpress/ which I used before, but it is probably coming up this way because it is also the default. Maybe this adds a clue to the whodunit.

Gee, another post answered by myself – I’m getting pretty good at this – now if only the questions were of a higher calibre.

Forgot to change the table name prefix in the config file to match the imported database records. Aha!
