 * after I upgraded my WP to 2.8 I cannot upgrade any plugin automatically!

 * Disable all plugins and then activate them on one by one to find out the culprit…
   and make sure that your all plugins are compatible with 2.8..
 * If issue still remains then provide exact error message…
