    UPDATE: This issue may have been a WordPress issue, or user error, not an Updraft issue. I found that the WordPress “Email address” setting was the old one. I may have confused this setting with a WP User I had named “admin”. Sorry for not square-waving all the options before posting.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I just installed Updraft V1.8.2 and, while configuring, I noticed that the “Site’s admin address” was an old one. I changed my wordpress settings to update the site’s admin address, then went back to Updraft configuration and the admin address was still listed as the old one. I did everything I could think of to refresh updraft’s notion of my sites admin email address, and nothing worked.
    After updating the wp admin eamil, I un-installed Updraft and re-installed and the Reporting email address was still wrong. I repeated the un-install including “Wipe all settings”, re-installed, and it still would not update. I went into my site’s phpmyadmin tool and verified that the admin email was correct. I even went to the hosting companies admin page to verify that the old address wasn’t there. (It is not clear what “your site’s admin address” refers to in Updraft’s Reporting email entry. It could be the WordPress admin address, or the *sites* admin address).
