# Updating WordPress server

 * Hello Everyone, I am new to WordPress. The last time that, I was working on website
   using FrontPage. I was told that WordPress was an easy and amazing platform. 
   WordPage is stating there is an update, and I click on update automatically .
   But its asking for FTP info to update. I never got questions for FTP during setup.
   How do I update the server.

 * WordPress can ask for FTP login in case file owner and PHP process owner are 
   different, or in case there are insufficient write permissions.
 * You can try to add
    `define('FS_METHOD','direct');`
 * into wp-config.php , if you are sure (or want to try) that filesystem permissions
   are sufficient to overwrite files on update
