Updating to WordPress 5.9 breaks the “Change Author” field for CPT

    Hello,

    I encountered exactly the same problem as is described here https://toolset.com/forums/topic/updating-to-wordpress-5-9-breaks-the-change-author-field-for-types-cpts-only/ – it is related to a different plugin, but I encounter exactly the same problem with CPT UI.

    After upgrading to 5.9. WordPress, the author field from my custom post type disappears from the quick edit page and also from the post edit page – you can see the screenshots in the link attached – for me it looks exactly the same. I also tried to deactivate other plugins, but I found out the only way how I could solve this was to downgrade WordPress back to 5.8.3 version.

    I would be thankful if you could have a look at it if there is some solution for this problem.
