Updating to latest version

I am currently running Version 5.2.9 of Events Manager and am wondering what will happen if I update to the lastest/newest version. Will I lose all my scheduled events (only about 20) or will I have to input them all over again?

I’m also wondering if I really need to or should update to the latest version. Are there any needed fixes or significant improvements to your plugin that would make updating worth the time and effort of having to input everything all over again (if that’s required)?

Just to be clear, I have had zero issues/problems with the version I’m currently running, and I don’t really anticipate having to add any more events. At least not for the foreseeable future.
