Updating slugs

    I’m trying to update a slug from “corporate” to “events”and it won’t let me make the change – just keeps defaulting back to the original “corporate”. I have deleted events from my tags list. I also saw another post about emptying trash, however, I don’t see any option to empty trash on my dashboard.

    Any suggestions?
