Updating role to customer does not update

    Hi everyone,

    We imported from a CSV a ton of users with the role customer. But we found the role does not fully apply ( woocommerce user metas are not created ) until we click edit user and then click the update user button (At which point it creates the woocommerce metas).

    We tried using wp_update_user and wp_insert_user but those woocommerce metas are not created.

    What does the update user button do that we are missing?
