Updating Page Title and Meta Description without using plugins

    My website is done in WordPress. I am using Yoast SEO plugin for Page Title and Meta Description. I actually want to update Title and Meta Description for each page without using SEO plugin. Because, currently Google takes meta description from my page content, though I wrote unique and relevant meta descriptions for each page.

    Simply I wanna know how to update each page with Title and Meta Description without using any plugins.

    Couldn’t understand it. Please help me. Your suggestions are much appreciated.
