• Having issues getting edits in pages to update.

Keeps showing saving and autosave (repeatedly reloading), same with updating (shows updating, stops on Update for a few seconds, then starts again).

After all that, the page doesn’t actually update.
Haven’t had this issue until yesterday.

All plugins and themes are up to date.
Been using WP for a couple of years now.

WordPress 5.0.3 running Responsive Pro Child 02 theme.
    Firefox Quantum 64.0

    Any help is most appreciated.

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

Also this plugin tell you if issue with the Rest API.

Still trying to figure this one out.
Used HealthCheck but it returns more information than my brain can absorb.

Also, when I got out of HealthCheck all my plugins were still deactivated, had to go back in and manually activate each one.

Saving keeps switching between Saving and Autosaving.
Updating grays out, then switches back to Update before immediately graying out while showing Updating.

This YouTube video shows what is happening, seems particularly bad on longer pages.

    But, the page doesn’t update.

However if I do Ctrl / F5 and refresh it indicates there is a new autosave version. If I choose this version it usually has the updated.

I still see Yoast active in your example.

Use the Health Check Plugin’s Troubleshooting Mode to see if you still have any problems with all plugins deactivated and the Twenty Nineteen theme enabled: https://make.wordpress.org/support/handbook/appendix/troubleshooting-using-the-health-check/#troubleshooting

If the problem goes away, reactivate each one individually until you find the one causing the problem.

Health Check’s Troubleshooting Mode allows you to do all of this without affecting normal visitors to your site.

I’m having the same issues, I can’t update my home page anymore.

I press update, then go to the home page, and it hasn’t updated.

I’ve had this issue for about 4 months now, and I still haven’t been able to fix it.

I can’t update the Bluehost update either.

Moreover, it’s not loading my images at the bottom of my home page.

Is there anything I can do, please help?
