Updating messed up my calendars

    Hi!

    I made the update and the layout and function is totally messed up:

    only one feed is working properly and i added a “Add to my calendar” button which is now also gone.

    Well – and there is an error:
    Warning: file_exists(): open_basedir restriction in effect.     The display for your events is coming from the event template so you can adjust that how you need it to look. Here is more info on those tags: http://docs.simplecalendar.io/event-template-tags/

    Sorry Nick for keeping you waiting.

    I fixed the layout issue. I had to change a few settings – using “Grouped Calendar” instead of two feeds connected with a “,” was the solution.

    But I am still dealing with the first issue. As recommended in your link I am in contact with my hosting provider. He told me that communication with external servers is not allowed on our server. To allow the communication with the plugin respectively Google Calendar I would need the exact link. Could you please be so kind and send this one to me?

    I am very sorry but I would have no idea what the exact links are since they are all built through the plugin based on settings and various other things.

    Well, okay, then: how can I figure out these links?

    You would have to dig through the code and find somewhere where you could output the URL. But even then it might not be clear because we make the calls through the Google API.

    I am not sure if that will even help though because the issue seems to be something else – trying to access certain files with the plugin not necessarily URLs.

    Sorry for not answering your advice.
    I have not dug through the code as you supposed – but I will change some settings on the server.

    So my main issue was solved – thanks!
