    Hi
Our company site was built on WP 3.5.1. and using a custom theme (which isn’t mobile friendly). We are wanting to make the site mobile friendly and were wondering if updating to the latest version of WP would be a step in the right direction. We have already backed up the site with our host server last week.
Could updating cause us any problems with our site and the custom theme that has been designed for us? and would it help us make the site mobile friendly.

    Our url is http://www.buffalosystems.co.uk
    Thanks
    Adam

This would be better directed at the people who built your theme.

    Don’t do it!!!

Even though you havent set me up with a vendors account yet 😉 I’d strongly advise that you don’t upgrade. I suspect that there is something fundamentally wrong in 4.2.2 as it has wrecked a lot of peoples websites, including mine.

I don’t think that’s very helpful Chris. You nor I know how the custom theme was set up, we can’t comment on this.
