  • Hey @czeller,

Can you please let us know which version of our plugin you are using? Also, can you please disable all other plugins except ours and test again?

Sorry for the delay, it is hard for me to troubleshoot because the site is live and I have to coordinate. Version 4.4.4

But… I have discovered that the download plugin only fails when it is used on an article inside the Solution Center which is created by the Heroic Knowledge Base Plugin: https://herothemes.com/plugins/heroic-wordpress-knowledge-base/

That plugin is an absolute necessity for us, but your plugin is almost as important. Is there some way we can make them work together?

    Hey @czeller,

Can you please share a screenshot of that error and steps on how to replicate it?

I think that in the 12 days since I posted this, I may have solved it, thank you for your response-

I have been experiencing a similar issue. The steps to replicate…

    Create a new page
    Add some paragraph text
Add new DLM block, but don’t select a download from the list
Wait… until the page tries to auto-update (or try and save the draft or publish page)

“Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.”

Refreshing the page gives the new “Critical error” message and sends the “Your Site is Experiencing a technical Issue” email

    Hey @nothroughroad,

We had some issue with the block. I would recommend placing our shortcodes instead of the block for now. I’ll remind the developer again to look into this.

Thanks @hchouhan. Have done as advised for now.
