Updating failed. Could not update the meta value of _elementor_page_settings in

    Hi there Elementor team!

    I am encountering issues with Elementor, which seem to be happening since versions after  3.27.1, when installing an SEO plugin (so I understood).

    I installed yesterday Rank Math SEO, and found out I could not save in the editor page, because I got the legend

    "Fallo al actualizar. No se pudo actualizar en la base de datos el valor _elementor_edit_mode." (in Spanish). 

    RankMath sent me the following link, which is like 4 months old.

    But I had the same issue yesterday, June 4th 2025, when I installed Rank Math and upgraded Elementor to the latest version… I’m not sure but I could have had the issue for a while just didn’t see it.

    I restored both Elementor and Elementor PRO to version 3.27.1, which did solve the problem.

    So now what? Will we have to stick to a previous version 3.27.1 ?

    Is there a newer version that solves the problem that I can jump forward to?

    Hi,

    Thank you for getting in touch. There were indeed conflict with newer versions of elementor and Rank math and as far as I am aware Rank math has solved those conflicts. In this case, what I suggest is to make sure you are using the latest version of Rank math and Rank math pro and also the same for elementor. If nothing helps, On your site’s WP dashboard, go to Elementor > system info. Scroll down to the bottom, if you can see any copy them send the error codes here. You can copy only the error part of the error code if you have any privacy concerns.
