• When I try to update the plugin to the newest version it breaks my entire site with an error 500.

I’ve also tried to uninstall the old version and install the new version fresh but wordpress gives me a fatal error and wont activate the new plugin.

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or ‘$’ in /home/sites/supplychainbestpractice.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/members-list-new/class/html.php on line 17

This is a buddypress site so I’m wondering if this could be conflicting. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
