Updating a discontinued theme

    I am using a theme that is no longer supported. I wish to continue using this theme and need to update it to work with 3.61. What are the steps that I need to take to make it current. It was last updated 2 years ago. It is working fine as far as I can see, but there may well be problems lurking under the bonnet

    I’m afraid that’s a bit like asking “how long is a piece of string?”. It very much depends upon the how the them, was coded in the first place. Does it support custom headers? Or custom backgrounds? Have you tried turning debug on and enabling error logging?

    I was afraid that was the case. Maybe I should learn to build a theme myself and then get it to look like the one I have.
    I will probably start by finding out what custom headers are!!!!

    Have you tried looking for a theme with similar layout but that is still supported? I think this would be the best soultion
