Updates not working. New themes not working.

    This is my website, it was working fine until the one before previous update of its theme and installation of hueman add-ons.
    After that following problems arrived
    1. Featured post slider stopped working
    2. Arrows of drop down menus don’t show up now
    3. The custom header image is not showing up
    4. If i’m installing a new theme then its not activating, displaying the error “The theme directory “theme name” does not exist.
    Please provide solutions for up listed issues.
    I have already tried reinstalling the things, but it didn’t worked.

    Hi anupam11,

    So, have you noticed these problem in the error console?
    I don’t think the update is the root cause of the problems.

    Hi,

    Theme update does not cause these issues.

    Did you make changes to your WordPress URL or Site URL as found in Settings -> General ?
    This could be why your scripts URL is wrong and not found by browser.

    For example, in your website source code, the flexslider javascript file’s url is as follows.
    http://www.inkcoop.com/home/sctoinfinity99/public_html/wp-content/themes/hueman/assets/front/js/jquery.flexslider.min.js?ver=4.6

    It will lead to 404 not found if you click on it. This is why your slider is not working.

    You will have to try to recall what changes you made before theme update. Any changes to url? installed a security plugin? Changes any file or folder permission?…
