Updates hanging

I’m having problems with running the updates for this plugin. I love the contact form but when I try to run the update it just hangs and hangs and hangs, does nothing really. When I decide to refresh the screen 10 or 15 mins later it hasn’t updated but it has deleted forms I had set up. Very frustrating. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

The site I’m using it on has over 700 pages on it but does have plenty of disk space available for the account.
