  • You don’t have to update every time there is a release.
    In fact the only time you need to update would be for a security fix.
    For all other updates, read the change log and if it’s a bugfix that doesn’t effect you, or an enhancement you don’t need, skip it.
    You’re not the only user so someone else might need that update.
    It’s a much better method than having to wait for long periods between releases.
    It also gives confidence that development is very much active.
    YMMV of course.

    Normally frequent updates from plugin authors are a great sign. However, with Ninja Forms it seems like they cause more issues than they fix. Ninja Forms is one of the few plugins I’ve stopped updating in bulk because I’ve come to expect it to break forms across at least a few websites.
