Support » Plugin: WooCommerce » Updated WooCommerce wrecked our online store

  • Hello,

    I just updated WooCommerce to the latest version today and it completely wrecked the individual product pages in our store. All the photos are cut out and the layout got all jumbled. Here’s a link for an example:

    Here are the options that woocommerce has listed to fix the problem:

    Can someone help me find the loop in this code?

    * @package WordPress
    * @subpackage YIW Themes
    * @since 1.0

    get_header() ?>

    <div id=”primary” class=”layout-<?php echo yiw_layout_page() ?>”>
    <div class=”inner group”>
    <?php get_template_part(‘slogan’) ?>

    <?php get_template_part( ‘accordion-slider’ ) ?>

    <!– START CONTENT –>
    <div id=”content” class=”group”>
    <?php if( yiw_get_option( ‘_show_breadcrumbs_page’ ) == ‘yes’ ) yiw_breadcrumb(); ?>

    <?php get_template_part( ‘loop’, ‘page’ ) ?>

    <?php comments_template() ?>
    <!– END CONTENT –>

    <!– START SIDEBAR –>
    <?php get_sidebar() ?>
    <!– END SIDEBAR –>

    <?php get_template_part( ‘extra-content’ ) ?>

    <?php get_footer() ?>

  • The photos are all cut out on the leftside of the page and the content that was supposed to take up only the right half of the page now takes up the entire area

    Please contact your theme developer to make this theme compatible with WooCommerce 2.0. I believe there has been an update to the Maya theme you are using and it should be already available by now.

    WooCommerce 2.0 is a big update and therefor requires a small list of changes in your theme which unfortunately are up to the theme developer to perform.

    I already updated and Mayashop doesn’t ever seem to help with any questions I have. I’m really hoping to get some help form you guys.

    The most obvious changes will be in your CSS code:

    woocommerce_ replace with woocommerce-
    wc- replace with woocommerce-

    But I’m not that familiar with the Maya theme to provide any support on that beyond this. If you can’t get it fixed with just CSS, have a look at these links:

    These might look complicated at first, but they contain all the changes that are important for your theme to look at to be compatible with WooCommerce 2.0. Your theme developer has had the chance to update their themes from December on already, sorry to hear they haven’t been able to update your theme yet. 🙁
