• I updated WooCommerce to the latest version, and now I am getting these errors:

    Warning: include_once(/home3/johanna/public_html/_websites/nerfgunrentals.com/wp/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/classes/walkers/class-product-cat-list-walker.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home3/johanna/public_html/_websites/nerfgunrentals.com/wp/wp-content/themes/kinetico/woocommerce/woocommerce-template.php on line 52

    Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening ‘/home3/johanna/public_html/_websites/nerfgunrentals.com/wp/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/classes/walkers/class-product-cat-list-walker.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/opt/php53/lib/php’) in /home3/johanna/public_html/_websites/nerfgunrentals.com/wp/wp-content/themes/kinetico/woocommerce/woocommerce-template.php on line 52

    Fatal error: Class ‘WC_Product_Cat_List_Walker’ not found in /home3/johanna/public_html/_websites/nerfgunrentals.com/wp/wp-content/themes/kinetico/woocommerce/woocommerce-template.php on line 54

    No idea where to start.

    Any suggestions?

  • This sort of problem usually happens when the theme and WC get out of sync, so firstly make sure you have the up-to-date version of your theme.

    If that doesn’t fix it, because this is a commercial theme, the theme author is best placed to sort this out. If they won’t or there is a delay, your options are to either use an old version of WC possibly bringing in other bugs, or to use a different theme at least until your main theme is updated.

    Thanks for the suggestion. Apparently the theme developer is not in business anymore. I purchased the theme from ThemeForest, but it’s not available anymore, and the support page for the theme that I used before is no longer there.

    Any other ideas?

    Themes need updating from time to time to cope with changes and remove bugs. Unfortunately you have a theme that doesn’t work, isn’t supported and is no longer being kept up-to-date. You could hire someone to fix it but that is likely to be an on-going expense, so consider looking round for another theme, there are many around. Look for something that is popular and has a history of being updated.
