Updated to 4.5 I think the update chucked in extra menu items

    Hello –

    Apologies if I’m putting this in the wrong section. I couldn’t see a section for “things that may have gone wrong after updating to 4.5”

    I’ve just updated and everything seemed to go well. But on closer inspection on one of my sites I seem have have gained some extra menu items.

    They say: #0 (no title)

    They are definitely added, rather than replacing existing menu items (so I just deleted them).

    Upon a Google search for “#0 (no title)” I find no other mention of them apart from a few other sites (who have also updated to WP4.5 – [checked using readme.html] that are having the same issue and presumably haven’t noticed yet.

    If it helps to debug I run a Multisite install, and this error is on the 2nd site of the network. The other sites weren’t affected.

    Hope this helps others, and others can help work out what caused it?
