    Ok, here is my issue. I updated two plugins because they said they needed it, once I did that and the page automatically refreshed, it now brings up a maintenance screen and says check back in a minute. I tried going to the websites normal url and that says the same thing so I am thinking it has to be something in the plugin update that I did but I don’t know for sure. Is there something I can do without having to reinstall completely to get this back up and running?

    Thanks in advance for any help
    You guys are all awesome!

  • @ewhit follow these steps:

    1. login to cpanel (yourwebsite.com:2082)
    2. Go to file manager -> public_html..->wp-content -> plugins
    3. Delete both of those plugins

    and check if it is working

    You can also access your site via FTP, go to your plugins folder and just change the name of the plugin to something else and it will deactivate that plugin.

    I got it to work by deleting them and reinstalling through my cpanel, thanks shekhar. Christine, thanks for the advice, I didn’t get to try yours although I believe that it will work as well!
