updated plugin, Notice: text shows up on every page

This notice is now showing up on the top of every single page for my site.
Notice: Undefined index: query in /public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-slimstat/wp-slimstat.php on line 790

I saw the note that you will fix it in the next update but in the meantime how does one remove it from their site, doesn’t look good now with error text on all pages.
