# Updated plugin and lost it

 * I recently updated all my plugins, deactivated what I presumed to be some non-
   essentials and, perhaps unwisely, deleted a few plugins. I can no longer get 
   a promo working on my homepage slider. I have a the slider coded into the index.
   php as: <?php echo do_shortcode(‘[promoslider]’); ?>
 * I’m not experienced with WP. Can you suggest what steps I need to take?

 * In case anybody else landed on this thread, the problem was due to upgrading 
   the Promotion Slider and the solution was to add the width and height dimensions
   to the hardcoding shortcut in the main index php.
