# Updated php breaking WP?

 * Ever since my host upgraded to php 4.3.4, my blog has been broken – I tried a
   clean install,and all is still broke.
    Help?

 * It would help to have actual examples of what you mean by ‘broken’. (Error messages,
   etc.)
    However, my host is running 4.3.4 with no problems, so it’s likely to 
   be a problem on your host’s end. Er, side. Whatever. 😉

 * I’m running under PHP 4.3.4 as well. Most likely, something in your system’s 
   php.ini file changed with the upgrade. You might want to make sure that safe_mode
   didn’t get turned on. Or if you need to to be on, make sure that the related 
   options are set properly so that they don’t interfere with WP.
