I just updated pagebuilder yesterday and now my homepage would not load.

When I access the individual pages on the website, they work fine but without my home page loading, my clients can’t even access the menu.

Originally, when I deactivated the plugin, I can still access my home page, but when I deleted the plugin to rollback to the previous version, the problem didn’t go away.

    Not sure what happened there

    Hi Benny,

Is it possible for you to provide me with access (I likely won’t need an account) so I can inspect the homepage?

I would recommend running a plugin conflict to ensure that any other plugins you’ve updated recently haven’t caused this issue. As downgrading our plugin should have corrected this issue if it was SiteOrigin Page Builder.

    For reference:

This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

    Hey Benny

Sorry to hear about the hassle. A plugin conflict or PHP memory limitation are the two most common causes for the issue you’ve described. Let us know how the plugin conflict test goes, we’ll take it from there.

    Hey guys,

I did the plugin conflict test, found out it was from a different plugin.

So odd but it works for now. thanks for being so responsive!
