    Just updated to the newest version and I am getting this error when using testimonialswidget_list()

    Warning: Missing argument 1 for testimonialswidget_list(), called in /–/–/public_html/wp-content/themes/–/footer.php on line 21 and defined in /–/–/public_html/wp-content/plugins/testimonials-widget/testimonials-widget.php on line 893

    Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /–/–/public_html/wp-content/plugins/testimonials-widget/testimonials-widget.php on line 741

    Bug with the new version?

    You didn’t pass any arguments to configure the display. However, I suspect other people do the same, so I’ve set new defaults in release 2.2.2.

    Hey Michael,

    Thanks for getting back to me. I updated the plugin but I’m still getting “Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /home/—/public_html/wp-content/plugins/testimonials-widget/testimonials-widget.php on line 741”

    Sorry bout that, I had removed the arguments when trial-and-erroring. Copied the code from that test. Silly me. This is what I have in there (copied and pasted from your FAQ page, just removed tags and category):

    $args = array('limit' => 5);
    echo testimonialswidget_list( $args );

    Is there something I am doing wrong?

    Thanks Again!

    Your code sample is fine, but it also helped me patch up a defaults hole.

    Sorry, I was trying to statically call the methods when I should’ve reused my TW object.

    Fixed in upcoming release 2.2.3.

    Hey Michael,

    Wonderful! Thanks for the great support, especially on a free plugin. Very much appreciated.

    Thanks again!
