Support » Fixing WordPress » Updated jetpack plug in- now only being directed to OLD wordpress.com site

  • After the most recent plug-in update to Jetpack, I can no longer access my dashboard for the wordpress.org site! The log-in page automatically brings me to the old wordpress.com dashboard when I try to log in. I’ve made multiple attempts on both PC and mobile devices and have the same issue.

    Please assist!!!

  • Delete the plugin from the backend and reinstall the plugin. Check out this post

I just checked out the post and it’s way beyond my VERY beginner capabilities! I have no idea how to even access the plug in on the back end. I don’t want to delete the plug-in, just the last update that caused this mess. The plug in was running fine until I installed the update.

I host via bluehost, if that helps at all.

    Thanks for the assistance.

WordPress provides no rollback for plugin updates. If you cannot access the backend try deactivating all plugins then reactivating them one by till find the conflict, then move on to the theme and do the same.
