I recently went from Yoast to Rank Math. But my old posts still says “Update your post”. Nothing happened when I tried to update, but I just found that “WP Related Items (WRI)” by @webshoplogic. was the problem after deactivating it.
1. So now when it works again, do I still have to go through the all posts?
2. And is there somewhere were I can remove %page% from all of the titles?
Since the scoring system in your older plugin and the Rank Math plugin are completely different, one needs to edit the post so the Rank Math plugin can give a score.
Some of the tests are JavaScript based so unless a post is opened, Rank Math can not provide a score.
1. No, you should not worry. Edit a post only if you have something to edit in it and then the Rank Math plugin will automatically assign a score to it.
2. You can do that from titles & meta settings. We highly recommend going through the following guides to set up the plugin completely and correctly:
I don’t know how Rank Math works. As the Rank Math team pointed out, this is perhaps due to a JavaScript problem.
The “WP Related Items (WRI)” plugin has a built-in Advanced Custom Fields plugin, that contains JavaScript.
There was a JavaScript error in the Post / Page admin interface, which we have now fixed in the new version 1.2.7
We’ve also updated the included Advanced Custom Fields plug-in to the latest version.
I don’t know if this changes are related to this problem, but please try to see if it fixed the problem or not in v1.2.7.
I activated the Rank Math plugin on our test system, tried the two plugins together and found no problems. I will also take a screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/ksnSB6o
If you still have the problem, please Rank Math team look at what is causing the problem. This plugin only adds a few custom metaboxes and meta data to posts and pages, using standard WordPress features.
