# Update WordPress Fail

 * I’m trying to update wordpress, but after trying over numerous days on numerous
   different computers, I’m still getting the same fail message. Anyone know what
   I need to do?
 * Downloading update from [https://downloads.wordpress.org/release/en_AU/wordpress-4.8.3.zip…](https://downloads.wordpress.org/release/en_AU/wordpress-4.8.3.zip…)
 * Download failed.: The checksum of the file (71e27dc03b9200b91b694735d5c8b0fd)
   does not match the expected checksum value (fb812a9801f71d63624bb3e04f7504fd).
 * Installation Failed
