    I received an update for SVG Support this morning for version 2.3.7, tried to update, but update failed. There was a lot of code, which showed up inline under the plugin name. I should have copied that, but was concerned about site stability and failed to capture.

    If needed, I can try again on a testing site. Is this update working for others?

    Hi @lehacarpenter,

    Sorry to hear you had issues updating.
    You’re the first in at least 15,000+ in the last week since updating to 2.3.7… also, this version didn’t have major changes that would break anything so it seems a bit odd.

    I dare say it is a conflict with another plugin or theme, or some entirely separate issue that coincided at the same time you updated.

    I would certainly suggest trying on a testing site (best practise says you should test all updates on a staging site before pushing to live sites anyway, just to be safe).

    If you could try and reproduce and capture any errors, that would be awesome.
    Additionally, you could disable all other plugins and revert to standard WP theme like twentyseventeen and then test the update to see what happens.

    Let me know how you go and if you have a test site setup where you can reproduce the issue, I would be happy to take a look at it if you wanted to send temporary admin details to

    Thank you for your quick reply. I did try it on the test site and it was fine, so I tried it again on the live site and now it worked. My guess is it was just some kind of server hiccup or something.
