Update to WP 4.6 makes menu image not function anymore

    I just updated to WP 4.6 and Menu Image doesn’t work anymore. Of course I updated Menu Image too to the latest version, but it doesn’t help. Another site with exactly the same theme from Themeforest does still work with WP version 4.5.3. Can you help me out with this?

    Hello,

    I’ll check it with latest wp version, but also it can be not compatible with some of other menu plugin.

    Problem partly solved. Problem of not functioning Menu Image is caused by updating plugin Contact Form 7 version 4.5. Update to WP 4.6 and all other plugins didn’t cause the problem. Perhaps you can find the issue with Contact Form 7.

    Awesome, I don’t know how CF7 can interact with menu, but thank you, now I know what need to check!

    I have Salient Theme on WP 4.7 … I have not added any plugins; the images are still there on the drop downs, but I have no way to change them out. I have already tried toggling the “image” check box on the screen options … no go. I am assuming a conflict with WP 4.7?

    Hi Support,

    I love the Menu Image plugin, Currently Experiencing an issue.

    I was able add images via the menu

    Appearance > Menu > Menu Structure

    The option to add images is no longer appearing.

    Please assist.
