Database lost. Update destroy one the most important table: “posts” where all sites are. (true?)

backup is to old 🙁 and has problem to establish

I host my own WP servers at home. The most important thing I do is backup the entire VM that my WordPress sites are on. I do it several times a week. If I do many updates to the site, daily. If I upgrade the LAMP components, before I upgrade them. I have restored my entire VM numerous times due to WP upgrades and updates. I purchased the Essentials Kit from VMWare and installed VEEAM to backup the VMs. The LAMP components get updates several times a week. Ubuntu, Apache, Mariadb, and PHP are kept the on the latest repositories.

The database errors look bad. You have many tables missing. That means the entire database is corrupted. I have not seen an update delete tables. You have issues with your database server itself. Did you do an upgrade to the database server or core server? When I upgrade Mariadb, I run a script command to verify all databases were upgraded properly. You might need to reinstall the entire server including the database components then restore your backup. Can you log into the server and check the database server, databases, and tables? Do you have another server you can test your backup on?

Does your hosting site have a backup of the database? Do they do any backups?
