# Update to 2012 theme

 * I am currently using a child theme of Twenty Twelve. I notice there is an update
   for 2012 now. Should I update? And then what does that do to my child theme?

 * Yes, you should keep themes updated. If your child theme is set up correctly 
   and you have not modified any parent theme files, it should not change anything
   in your child theme. Still, backing up your site is always a good idea.
