update to 2.4.2 breaks permalinks of custom taxonomies too

    tried version 2.4.2, permalinks working with previous 2.3.5 (the one with faulty conditional dropdowns) version get broken and return 404s, same as it happened with 2.4.0 and 2.4.1

    no news in nearly a month, considering dropping the feature altogether, as one way or another i can’t get its features to work properly all at once.

    still, if you happen to be around, i’m really looking for hints on where to look for the problem, so i shall thank you in case you have some time for it.

    Apologies for the stand-still on support and updates.
    I’m sure you’ve read the sticky post about the reasons for this.

    I want to help out of course but my time is very limited atm due to both new work and living situation. If you help me renovate the kitchen I’ll look into this xD

    No but seriously.. Could you post the difference in the URLs between the working 2.3.5 and the 404 from 2.4.2?

    You’re also using WPML? What happens if you turn WPML off (on a test site) and refresh permalinks? I’ve not tested BTF extensively with WPML and honestly I dislike the plugin quite a bit due to it’s tendency to be buggy, slow etc.

    I’ve not been able to work with BTF in any way for a while now.
    I’m slowly working my way back tho 🙂

    nothing against sharing whatever solution we’d reach with the rest of the forum, you’re pushing at an open door on that with me. was just wondering if there was a chance for a quote for a more dedicated support, that’s all.
