Update to 1.0.6 stopped all mp3s from playing

I am still using Pref-Lite 1.0.5 as a testing platform before going to Pro.
I am using a child theme.
I had a good mock up of the site working with mp3s playing in a couple of different places.
On a page and from some code in the header file.
Yesterday I updated the theme to 1.0.6
Today when having someone test site on Ipad and safari..no links to mp3s were playing, even when making a new page using WP embed code.
I was thinking it was a Mac issue.
But noooo
I found that they weren’t playing for me as well.
So I deactivated plugins and such and no change.
Fortunately I remembered I had updated Pref_lite theme..
So I deleted that theme (Pref-lite 1.0.6) and re-uploaded my copy of Pref-lite 1.0.5 and the mp3s play again.

So what did you change in the update that stopped the music from playing?

I really like this theme and have a lot of time into it now,
I want to go Pro version but this little theme update threw me.

I hope you are in a position to help me on this, if not now I understand.
