Support » Plugin: Popup Maker - Popup Forms, Optins & More » Update to 1.6.2 Loses Overlay

  • Resolved karks88

    Hi, I updated to version 1.6.2 this morning and did some work on my custom theme. Unfortunately, the overlay and background color of popup windows are no longer working.

    I’ve tried re-saving my theme and even switching to one of the built-in themes, but they are still not working correctly.

    Any insight as to what else I might be able to do? I’m getting an error in Chrome regarding the background:

    background-color: rgba( 43, 43, 43, );

    Apparently the opacity is not being set?

  • Same Here. Last update broke some things so I had to restore previous version of Popup Maker. Hope we get some feedback on the issues caused by the update.

    I’ve been able to override the CSS for the time being to fix the issue. Looks to affect anything that has an opacity setting.

    Same here. The rgba CSS function isn’t printing the opacity variable.

    Same problem. It messed up with the background. It has become transparent. How to download the previous version?

    This is happening to me as well. I reverted back to version 1.5.8 (download link is at the bottom of the page at but unfortunately the issue persists. What version do I need to install to fix the problem?

    Also, karks88: what CSS overrides the opacity issue?

    Join. The background is gone.

    @karks88, @pacoforet, @contemplate, @fergumungus, @asasergey, @sarangsss29 – Thanks for the report, v1.6.3 should resolve that. Appears number_format php function has a precarious limitation that it can’t accept 3 parameters, only 1, 2 or 4. Fixed now.

    @danieliser Thanks! Will update to 1.6.3 and see if any issues appear.

    Same problem with the last update. : v1.6.3.
    The background of the popup has become transparent.

    I downgrade to v1.6.1 but the issue is still there…
    What shall we do?
    Thanks in advance for your support!

    @jerome2017 – You may need to resave any of your popup themes. The CSS that was corrupted gets stored and only regenerated when changes are made. So its still loading the broken CSS until you edit and resave any theme.

    Hope that helps.

    It works now. Thanks
