    Hello,
is there any way or possibility to update Tinymce editor from buddypress docs? from the backend I have more options than from the frontend. I need some options that it gives me in the backend but that are in the frontend … the difference is that the backend is WP 5.6.2 and the frontend is BP Docs 2.1.5 both last versions. I have tried from the FTP copying the Tinymce files from the WP but nothing changes …. Can someone give me a solution or clue?
    Thanks,

    Hi @zuaz,

BP Docs uses WP’s TinyMCE, so you are using the same version. However, BP Docs does limit some of the available tools. You can see some of the code we use to customize the TinyMCE editor here: https://github.com/boonebgorges/buddypress-docs/blob/2.2.x/includes/templatetags-edit.php#L152

    Hello @dcavins ,
Thank you very much for the reply.
I have disabled the limitations, but still a button of another complement which interests me is not shown.
I understand that it would have to be added manually in the file? This is very complicated?
    Again, thank you very much.

    Hello again @dcavins
Could the WP “add object” button be displayed in the “create new document” panel of BP Docs? I would be very grateful if someone could help me show that button or the upper part that does not show in the BP Docs editor and in the WP editor it does.
    Thanks a lot,

    Hi @zuaz,

Sorry, we don’t support the “add media” button in the editor. You can use the “Add attachments” buttton to add files, at the moment, but they’ll be listed under the content of the doc.

    Hi @dcavins
Thank you very much, but for what I need that does not help me … because that way I attach the files but if I could show the button, I would be able to make a preview of an attachment using another add-on in the publication.
I would appreciate if anyone knows of any add-on that can organize the documents in folders and subfolders and that also before downloading the documents that can be previewed, especially the docx.
    Thanks,
